Until now, we have the following list of these adaptations :
Silent black and white
-La Esmeralda, directed by Alice Guy (1905). With : Denise Beckers (Esmeralda), Henri Vorins (Quasimodo). Five minutes. French.
-Notre-Dame de Paris, directed by Albert Capellani (1911). With : Henry Krauss (Quasimodo), Stacia Napierkowska (Esmeralda), René Alexandre (Phoebus), Claude Garry (Claude Frollo). Thirty minutes. Though this film isn't available in commerce, one edition has been restored for the century of cinema and is watchable at the Forum des Images (Paris). French.
-The Darling of Paris, directed by J. Gordon Edwards (1922). With : Theda Bara (Esmeralda), Glen White (Quasimodo), Walter Law (Frollo), Herbet Heyes (Phoebus), Carey Lee (Paquette), John Webb Dillon (Clopin) and Louis Dean (Gringoire). USA.
-Esmeralda (from Tense Moments from Great Plays), directed by Edwjn J. Collins (1922). With : Sybil Thorndike (Esmeralda), Booth Conway (Quasimodo), Arthur Kingsley (Phoebus), Annesley Healy (priest, Frollo ?).
-The hunchback of Notre-Dame (1922), British. No more informations.
-The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, directed by Wallace Worsley (1923). With : Lon Chaney (Quasimodo), Patsy Ruth Miller (Esmeralda), Norman Kerry (Phoebus), Winifred Byrson (Fleur de Lys), Nigel de Brulier (Claude Frollo), Brandon Hurst (Jehan Frollo). Available on DVD and Youtube. First case of Frollo's character split in two through Jehan - it's Jehan who acts like Frollo in the book while "Claude" is a good priest. USA.

Available on DVD and Youtube. Second case of Frollo "split in two". USA.
-Robert Montgomery presents the Hunchback of Notre-Dame., directed by Norman Felton (1954). 2 episodes for TV. With : Robert Ellenstein (Quasimodo), Bramwell Fletcher (Frollo) and Celia Lipton (Esmeralda). No more informations.

Available on Youtube, rare on DVD. It's the first time that Frollo is clearly designed as a priest.

Will someone remember what's the name of the new director for the ex-Tim Burton movie ? I can't recall it and I don't find the name on the Internet. :/

The name of the director is Zhang Yimou and the name of the movie will be "Quasimodo" starring Josh Brolin.
